This year I took part in the Illuminated Kayaks parade, where we paddled our kayaks through South Dock Marina and Greenland Dock and sang along to sea shanties. Neighbours and passers-by lined the dockside to join in and we all gathered to applaud the launch of the lanterns, made by children in the local community. Next day it was the Greenland Dock carol service, with friends, mulled wine and mince pies. Such a wonderful way to welcome in the new year. Thank you so much to you all and happy new year.
